You will need to have your Zip code, driver’s license number, Social Security number, new address, and email address for confirmation. You can change your address on your registration online only if you’ve moved within the same town. You may also change your address in person or by mail. The change of address is free unless you want a new license. To change your address by mail, send a notarized letter with your new address to the State of Maine, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, 29 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04330-0029. To renew in person, bring proof of your new address to the branch office.

How Do I Change My Address If I Am Moving To Maine from Another State?If you are moving to Maine from another state, you will need to obtain a Maine driver’s license and registration.
