Universal Title Application
Motorists can obtain a title for vehicles, motorcycles, RVs, boats, campers, trailers and other titled vehicles by completing and submitting a Form VR-217. You will need to provide the vehicle make, model, year, VIN number and address where it will be parked when not in use. If a lienholder has a financial interest in the vehicle, you also must provide the information identifying the lienholder.Affidavit of Surviving Spouse
The state of Maryland does not require an affidavit of a surviving spouse to transfer ownership of titled property to the surviving spouse. Instead, a death certificate will suffice and enable a surviving spouse to transfer property to his or her name and remove a deceased spouse from the title on jointly owned property.Renew/Replace DL – Out of State for an Extended Period
Anyone can renew or replace his or her Maryland driver’s license remotely via the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) online eServices portal. The MVA will not mail a driver’s license replacement to a new address. Driver History Abstract Request
Individuals can obtain either a 3-year or complete driver history record while licensed to drive in Maryland. The record will show any citations and convictions for moving violations, license suspensions or revocations, and any reinstatements that might have occurred while licensed to drive in Maryland.
