You should know that you also have to pay a $6 fee in order to obtain a duplicate vehicle title in Utah.

Another one of the requirements that you have to fulfill in order to drive a vehicle legally in Utah is you have to get a title for your vehicle. You have to fill out a different form when you get an original vehicle title than if you want to get a duplicate vehicle title. You have to fill out the Vehicle Application for Utah Title form if you want an original title for your vehicle. It is critical that you complete all of the required portions of this form. Additionally, you also have to pay a $6 fee in order to get an original title for your vehicle in the state of Utah.
Utah Vehicle Bill of Sale
There are several steps that you have to take when selling a vehicle in the state of Utah. It is important to note that the state of Utah does require you to fill out a bill of sale when selling a vehicle. You have to complete the Utah DMV Bill of Sale form and file it at your local DMV office when you complete the transfer of your vehicle’s title to the buyer. The Utah Bill of sale form includes information such as:
- A description of the vehicle
- The signature of the seller
- The VIN
- The final sales price
You can create your own bill of sale in the state of Utah. Of course, you can also simply complete the one provided by the Utah DMV if you wish.
